Jane Selman

• Printmaker: colourful, semi abstract & landscape images inspired by what I see, read and hear.

• I produce varied-edition monoprints of no more than 5 prints per image.

• I use very simple printing equipment of a small table-top press, draw into the image with inks, pens, crayons, add Japanese paper/chine collée style.

• The name Gradyprints is a homage to my great-grandmother Lousie O’Grady born in Bristol, who, in the early 1880s lived at 43 Philp Street, Bedminster, which is exactly where BV Studios is now.
